Plug Type E

Plug Type E are mainly used in Europe (Earthed), they are only compatible with both type E & F sockets will accept Type C, E & F plugs. You may also want to look at the type C adaptors which are an unearthed version of the type E/F adaptor.

The Type E plug has 2 round pins (4.8mm diameter, 19mm centres) and a hole for the earth pin. The Type E plug is round, the Type E socket is round.

Note: The CEE 7/7 plug can be used with both Type E and Type F sockets. It has a hole (for the earth pin of Type E sockets) and earth clips on the sides (for Type F sockets).
