Plug Type F
Plug Type F are mainly used in Europe (Earthed), they are only compatible with both type E & F sockets will accept Type C, E & F plugs. You may also want to look at the type C adaptors which are an unearthed version of the type E/F adaptor.
The Type F plug (also known as Schuko – short for the German “Schutzkontakt”) has two round pins (4.8mm diameter, 19mm centres apart).
It’s similar to a Type E plug; but instead of a hole for the earth pin, it has two earth clips on the sides.
A CEE 7/7 plug fits both Type E and Type F sockets.
It has earth clips on the sides for Type F sockets and a hole for the earth pin of Type E sockets.
The Type F plug is used for currents up to 16 A.
