Plug Type G

Plug Type G are mainly used in UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong (Earthed), they are only compatible with Type G sockets (outlets).

Type G has 3 rectangular pins in a triangle and a fuse (usually 3A for smaller appliances like computers or 13A for larger appliances like heaters). British sockets also have shutters on the live and neutral contacts to stop foreign objects getting in.
